About

One of the most colorful garden birds in Europe. It is a tiny, energetic bird with blue, yellow, and green plumage. It is found in almost every habitat with trees. Blue Tits are highly intelligent and visit bird feeders frequently. They are acrobatic and often hang upside down to reach food.

Behaviour

Blue Tits are curious and active. In spring, a single pair may catch 10,000 caterpillars to feed their chicks. They are very vocal and have a cheerful 'tsee-tsee-tsu' call. They are the most common residents of garden nest boxes. They are feisty and defend their territory vigorously.
